Chief Growth Officer

Susan brings more than 30 years of sales and marketing experience to her role at Dignity Hospice. Her infectious enthusiasm, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for helping others make Susan a welcome addition to the team.

Susan has worked with some of Boston’s largest acute care hospital systems including Partners Healthcare, Massachusetts General Hospice and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Additionally, she has experience working with many senior care organizations including Hebrew Senior Life, the Home Care Aide Council of Massachusetts, and Ezra Home Care, among others.

While working in senior care, Susan and her standard poodle, Shadow (a certified pet-therapy team), enjoyed providing dog-therapy to seniors in assisted living and memory care communities, hospitals and rehabilitation centers. This experience increased her desire to work with patients facing end-of-life challenges.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College and, in 2016, earned her Home Health Aide Certification from the State of Massachusetts.

Fun Facts: Susan has been playing the cello since she was 10 years old. She performs regularly with The Longwood Symphony Orchestra, Boston’s medical community orchestra, and founded a chamber music ensemble called the Romance Chamber Players. Additionally, Susan has performed Israeli music with a community chorus in Greater Boston. Susan holds a U.S. Patent for a massage device designed to help reduce chronic muscle pain.
